Juella Sparks

President - Elect, UAF Staff Council (2007-2008)
Member, Staff Alliance

I was born and raised in Alaska and graduated from UAF with a B.B.A. in Management. After several years working for the state and starting a family, I came to work for Cooperative Extension Service in December, 2002 as the Web Coordinator. I enjoyed my experiences with student government in both high school and college. I've been involved with Staff Council for just a year. In that year, I was a member of the Staff Affairs and Staff Make Students Count Award committees, participated in two different HR redesign workgroups and participated in a review of the Bunnell House. I am looking forward to working with Staff Alliance to strengthen our UA system, especially with two teenagers contemplating post-secondary education.
